Q: What does your cleaning and restoration process actually do?

A: When complete, we will have removed any unwanted dirt, soil, and residues, and applied a durable, long-lasting copolymer finish to your floor.

Q: How shiny will my floors be when finished?

A: As shiny as you want. We dictate how “shiny” your floors will look by applying fewer or more coats of our copolymer finish.

Q: Is there any way to see what my floor will look like before having you come out to do the entire floor?

A: Absolutely. Simply contact us to schedule a demo and we will completely finish a small area of your floor free of charge for you to evaluate.

Q: How long will the finish last?

A: Between 18 and 36 months, depending on the level of traffic and wear and tear on the floor.

Q: Do you offer a guarantee?

A: Yes. We guarantee the finish for a full year.

Q: How much does it cost?

A: $1.25 per square foot. This includes up to FOUR coats of our copolymer finish.

Q: What furniture will I have to move, and what furniture will Eco-Pure move?

A: We ask that you move any small items from the area, including delicates and valuables from the interiors of cabinets. We will take care of moving any furniture. Please disconnect all electronics. Also, please let us know if there are any extremely heavy pieces of furniture that will need to be moved.

Q: Is there any sanding involved?

A: No.

Q: Are there weekend and evening appointments?

A: Yes, we take a limited number of evening and weekend appointments. Depending upon the size of the job, we may be unable to complete during evening hours.

Q: Does this replace the existing polyurethane or wax finish on my floor?

A: No. We clean “down to” the existing finish on your floor and then fill-in scratches and protect that finish with our copolymer.

Q: Can you clean and restore my floors if there are areas missing the finish as well as the stain?

A: To a degree. If there are very small areas missing finish and / or stain, our copolymer can be applied. However, if there are large areas, it is recommended that you have the floor “re-finished” (sanded, stained, etc).

Q: How long will I have to stay off my floors?

A: We ask that you stay off of the floors for 1 hour after we have completed the job. At that point we ask that you limit foot traffic and wait to replace furniture until the copolymer has completed cured (12 hours).

Q: Are your cleaning and copolymer products safe?

A: Yes. Our cleaning and copolymer finish products are 100% biodegradable and are safe for you, your kids, pets, and the environment.

Q: Do you do “traditional re-finishing” of hardwood floors?

A: No, but we can recommend a professional who we believe is the best in the Kansas City area.

Q: Is your company insured?

A: Yes. We are insured and bonded.
